Botox®, Xeomin®, and Dysport® are injectable botulinum toxin treatments used to temporarily relax targeted facial muscles. They help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, such as forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet, creating a smoother and more youthful appearance. These treatments are minimally invasive, require little to no downtime, and typically provide results that last for several months.
Toxins: Botox®, Xeomin®, Dysport®
Botox®, Xeomin®, and Dysport® are FDA-approved injectable treatments that contain purified botulinum toxin type A. They work by temporarily blocking nerve signals to specific muscles, reducing muscle contractions that cause dynamic wrinkles. These treatments are commonly used to soften forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow's feet around the eyes.
The procedure is quick, minimally invasive, and usually takes only 10–20 minutes with little to no downtime. Results typically begin to appear within a few days, with full effects visible in about 1–2 weeks and lasting approximately 3–4 months. In addition to cosmetic uses, these treatments can also be used for certain medical conditions, such as chronic migraines, excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), muscle spasms, and teeth grinding (bruxism).
